I modified the Landing Page and the Home Page videos as well as the AMG Sales Video this week. They are now posted online so you can see them. The Landing Page video is just “yours truly,” blathering on about signing up, which is the whole point to the Landing Page anyway. I cut it down by 30 seconds so it’s only one minute long now, and it still begins playing automatically when a user opens a Landing Page. The same video appears on the Home Page, but it doesn’t start automatically. I found it too annoying to always have to STOP the video if I just wanted to hit the home page.
Our main sales presentation has changed. Again. As you should know by now, presentations are always a work in progress because we’re always trying to improve the audience reaction by presenting ‘what we do’ in the more favorable and easy-to-understand format. We tried the previous one as soon as the AMG was introduced to put the emphasis on the fact that the Asset Management Group is the only thing we’re selling for now, and modify an inaccurate perception that somehow we’re not open for business, when in fact we are. We discovered that presenting the AMG at the beginning of the slide show was confusing. It gave people the wrong impression that our main purpose is to simply sell the AMG Membership. Of course, you know that’s NOT our main product. It’s just the product that we’re selling right now because it’s entirely complete and ready to deliver. So, we kept all the same content in the presentation, but the order in which it’s presented has gone back to the previous standard.
The first and most important thing for people to understand is the purpose of this company: To provide instant alerts on the things and people most important to them, regardless of their location or method of communication at the moment. This theme is actually presented on the opening slide now with the following language:

If you haven’t seen it yet, just check a Landing Page of the Home Page. This little slogan summarizes the main purpose of the company better than any previous attempt, so I put it on the opening page of the Intro Video, the AMG Sales Video and also the Landing Pages and Home Page. We’ll begin actively using the AMG Sales Video as our main presentation this week. I’m also publishing the entire slide show together with all Notes Pages in the Associate Tools. This way, those Associates who wish to learn the presentation “verbatum” can do so and make an accurate representation of the company.
