Well, on Friday we had problems with the channels to the Internet (i.e. phone lines) which resulted in an average of only 3 lines instead of 6 working all day. And Saturday, I had hardware issues with the network here at the data center which took until noon to fix. Then when I had an online sales meeting at 5 pm, I discovered the bandwidth was taken up by our calling efforts so I had to shut down the lead-generation in favor of conducting a meeting Saturday evening, which resulted in only about 4 1/2 hours of calling on Saturday. Despite all those problems we STILL had a 1.04% conversion rate and located 17 interested parties who wish to know more about GTM! As we work our way through the testing phase we’ll learn more about how to make the whole system more efficient. As you can see, we had a fairly good response rate despite the problems.
I spent the entire day today analyzing data. The result was discovering a few things I can tweak that should greatly improve the response rates. I don’t have much time for updates right now because we’re having more and more sales meetings each day! I conducted one this morning, and I’m preparing for another one this evening. Both meetings will have multiple participants which is a great improvement over our typical single-party meetings. It looks like the meeting from Friday night will produce 3 Platinum memberships for a total of $18,000 in gross sales volume (financed). I’m expecting today’s meetings to yield something on the order of $10,000+.
It looks like we’re finally on a path to create a steady sales volume. This will allow us to “staff-up” in the programming department so we can make the kind of progress we all want to see! Keep watching, there’s a lot more coming this week.
