I am a little STUNNED. Yesterday, I said I expected somewhere around a FIVE HUNDREDTHS OF ONE PERCENT response, right? Well, it came it at more than THREE TENTHS! That’s almost EIGHT TIMES BETTER THAN I HAD HOPED FOR! Sorry, I don’t mean to SHOUT, but this is the best news I could have hoped for. Although we haven’t yet followed up to see whether the results are valid or not, I have plenty of experience dealing with responses like this, and even if a healthy percentage of the respondents didn’t really wish to have us call, it’s STILL an outstanding first-time out. In fact, seeing the results here, I know we can significantly improve these numbers with two very simple changes. First, we’re using an old list. I didn’t want to purchase a fresh list until we thoroughly test a “bad” list and create a profitable result under those conditions. This type of response rate virtually assures a great long term success. Second, we’ll be improving our hardware, software and VoIP provider. We’ve already selected a new VoIP provider since the current service we’re using was only selected as a very temporary test service. After testing, we’ll move to the “real” service provider. Getting an upgraded VoIP server will also improve the efficiency of the calls and the clarity with which the recipient can hear our message. This always has a positive effect. Furthermore, we already know of software modifications we can make that will create a more effective campaign.
But there’s an even MORE exciting number here. That Conversion Percent of 1.54% is far greater than I had hoped for as well. Unfortunately we only got about 4 hours of real calling time yesterday due to numerous technical problems getting the system to operate correctly. Therefore, I didn’t really start the campaign until 5 pm, and shut it down at 9 pm (the worst calling hours for business phone numbers).
The bottom line here is the fact that we have 5 new people who want us to tell them all about GlobalTmail and the Asset Management Group! Those Associates who wish to truly make money with us should be celebrating right about now. If the numbers hold steady or anywhere close to what we saw in the very first roll-out of this voice broadcast campaign, it means the company is finally on the path to creating substantial sales volume, from which we’ll be able to beef up our staff of programmers and analysts and really kick the final software development into high gear.
In the initial phases of this campaign, we have only a very few Associates designated to follow up on these leads. However, as we develop this campaign and it matures, we expect to make leads from this and other marketing systems available to all Associates under a set of rules that has yet to be determined. We expect to sell these inquiries for a reasonable price, but we’ll also give away many as a reward system for those Associates who demonstrate their willingness to work hard at producing results.
Just to whet your appetite, let me extrapolate some numbers for you, based on last nights results. We have 216,631 phone numbers to call in the current 4-state campaign. If last night’s result can be achieved through the entire campaign, we’ll get 780 inquiries on which to follow up. Usually, more than 80% of those who inquire are willing to listen to our online presentation. That means about 624 people attending a presentation, after which a qualified Associate will follow up. We’re currently seeing a closing rate of about 20% of those who attend who purchase. This would result in 125 new AMG members in this 4-state area during the next month or two, and the average sale is currently GREATER than the Silver membership. This means, we’ll put more than $3,750 on the books for these new members, giving us a total sales volume of $468,750 just in these four states, and just for this one promotion! We think we’ll have a total of about 6,000,000 small business phones to call around the USA under this current campaign, which I expect to last about 6 months. If these numbers hold, we should be able to bring in 3,456 AMG members within 2011. Using the same average sales amount, that’s about $12,960,000 in gross sales volume before the end of this year! Of course, since most people finance their purchase, the monthly volume would be about $270,000, but that is EXACTLY what we’re striving for: STABILITY.
Sorry for my enthusiasm here. This is probably the best news I have seen since the GlobalTmail concept was created and development started five years ago. I’ll keep you updated during this campaign testing phase to see how the numbers change from day to day so we can get some averages that are reliable.
