This is just a quick update. I just finished talking To Ahmed in Pakistan. He has been working on our system while we slept all night. He reports that his initial work will be complete by tomorrow. And that we’ll be able to start using the system on Monday.
MONDAY!
It’s hard to believe. This system we’ve been struggling with for several years now is only a few days away from being fully implemented. The feature set we’ll start with is far more robust than I imagined possible.
Just a word of caution though. Don’t expect that we’ll be making thousands of calls and making lots of sales next week. I expect the first couple weeks to be filled with us testing the system, possibly finding a few bugs, learning to manage it, manage data, set up campaigns, manage people who are using it, etc. etc. There’s a lot to do to get a system as robust as this to operate effectively, and much of that “todo” list has to do more with human behavior and learning than programming. This is a “first” in our company history so I’m very excited about it!
Not only will we have the capacity to make tens of thousands of calls a day to start, and up to 100,000 calls a day within 2 months, but the system will perform the functions of the most sophisticated call centers in America at the same time! We’ll be able to set up so many people to “tele-commute” and make a great income. This is better than I had hoped for in “Version 1” of the GroupCaller.
I’ll be gone this morning until early afternoon because I’m doing some volunteer work for my church. I should return in the middle of the afternoon if you need to get through to me. I expect post more updates Saturday and Sunday as well because Ahmed is on the job now.
Onward and upward!
