AMG Sales Stop Today, Replaced With Something Better!

In all the research I did while completing the Money Messaging^tm publication, I discovered something very important. A small, obscure company in Arkansas already owns the name “Asset Management Group,” thus precluding us from using it (at least for purposes of moving forward with our Phase I mass marketing campaign). 

Accordingly, I registered two names that now belong to us and ONLY us late last week:  Money Messaging^tm and  GroupCaller^tm.  Fortunately these are two unique names that nobody else has registered. By the end of the day today, I hope to have the skeleton of a web presence for www.groupcaller.com.  If you click that link this morning, however,  you’re just going to get a cryptic-looking address…something about an “Apache” server (that’s actually the name of the server on which this new website will reside.

I’m editing Money Messaging^tm today and removing all reference to “AMG” and “Asset Management Group”.  As I pondered the changes that must be made, I became very enthused!  At first I was concerned when I discovered somebody else was already using our “Asset Management Group” name.  But now that I’ve had a chance to review the issue of changing the name, and have begun re-writing the manual, the new terminology makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE! 

This is much more than just a name change.  It’s a whole new perspective on “what” we’re selling. This change is more logical than continuing to sell the AMG membership under our current Phase I marketing campaign.  This is an entire change of systems.  The change must take place before we begin mass-marketing of the Phase I campaign.  That’s why I’m pulling out all the stops to edit the manual and the presentation today and tomorrow.  You’ll see the changes show up on the website sometime this week as well but not today or tomorrow.  I believe I’ll have the changes done by the end of the week.  It’s imperative that new prospects see a consistent message between the phone call they get, the webinar presentation, the follow ups, the website and of course the Money Messaging^tm manual.

For those of you with an Asset Management Group membership, don’t worry, nothing has changed.  For you, it’s still known as the AMG and you still have all the benefits provided to you originally.  But you’re getting ONE MORE benefit.  You’ll also have access to GroupCaller^tm to the same extent that those who respond to the Phase I marketing campaign will have.  (NOTE:  There is one exception to this access. New licensees will be awarded a certain number of leads when they buy the license to use GroupCaller^tm. We can do this because we set aside and pre-pay our VoIP provider for the estimated number of calls required to obtain those leads for the new licensee.  This is not possible for pre-existing AMG members because the funds from their membership fee have already been expensed and are not available to pay the VoIP provider.  Therefore, access to a GroupCaller^tm is available at the same rates as all other new Remote Agent License holders.)

Beginning today, we’ll discontinue sales of the AMG.  Instead of selling a membership to the AMG, it makes much more sense to sell a license to use our GroupCaller^tm software and marketing system.  The license is known as the “Remote Agent License” or abbreviated as “RAL”.  The licensing concept is common for all types of software, cloud-based computing and business systems.  GroupCaller^tm embodies all three:

1. Software:  This is the first of our many IT applications to roll out.  It’s being tested right now and adjustments are being made in the final days before we ramp up and begin mass-marketing.  Virtually all software is “licensed” and not sold.  The same now is true for GroupCaller^tm.
    
2. Cloud-Based Computing:  This term has become popular in the past couple of years to describe software that runs from a remote computer (server) through the browser of a client (user) computer. More and more companies are choosing to distribute their software in this manner.  The increased access to high-speed bandwidth is what makes it possible to distribute software in this manner.  For GroupCaller^tm, this is by far the best method of distributing the system among thousands of users. There’s nothing to install and updates to the system happen automatically and are available to all users at the same time.
   
3. Business System:  GroupCaller^tm is much more than merely software.  It’s a complete marketing system that includes compliance with state & federal DNC regulations (and other related laws), the use of voice broadcast together with call transfers, webinar presentations, follow ups to the presentations, proxy selling for those RAL  holders who don’t have the skill to meet the sales and closing standards required and a system of presentations that make it possible for people of any experience level to participate and have some level of success.  This system is therefore licensed and not sold. 

The RAL is a one-time fee with lifetime updates.  Some parts of the system require a renewable subscription such as the Money Messaging^tm manual that provides instruction on marketing as well as use of the software.

Therefore, beginning today, we’ll refer to the “item” we sell during the Phase I mass marketing campaign as the Remote Agent License (“RAL”) to use our GroupCaller^tm system.  Everything contained within the AMG is now contained in the RAL.  The contracts and web pages are being re-written to accommodate these changes.  You should see the new pages by next weekend.  In the meantime, those of you who are paid AMG and/or PRG members will receive an advance copy of Money Messaging^tm in the next day or two as a downloadable PDF. As of today, before the edits for the RAL, it’s 136 pages.  After editing it will likely remain close to the same size.  I’ll have another update ready for you Monday morning.
