I’m sorry I didn’t get an article posted on Tuesday and Wednesday. Both days were completely filled from early morning until late at night. A lot was accomplished on both days and I expect today and tomorrow will yield some of the best progress we’ve ever seen. Here’s what happened the past 2 days:
GroupCallertm Testing
Tuesday night Jeff, Ahmed and my self held a lengthy session until almost 2 am in New York where Jeff is right now. For the first time, we were able to send the actual pre-recorded message, press 1, and have the call transferred to an Agent. All systems worked well except for two: (1) the VoIP quality was poor with packet loss (i.e. voice was broken and much was unintelligible) and (2) the VoIP provider failed to recognize our SIP authentication so only the first call went through. Subsequent calls failed until we reset and tried again. Both problems seemed to eminate from our VoIP provider and not from our system.
I submitted the problem to our VoIP provider for resolution yesterday but as of this morning I have not had a response. I expect to hear something from him today. In the meantime, I am re-recording the voice files and uploading them today as we did find some problem with the voice files as well. Tonight I expect Jeff, Ahmed and I to re-convene.
Please don’t be discouraged by all the delays, the testing, etc. Remember, we’re preparing for a dialing campaign that will ultimately make over 80 million phone calls. That’s a huge volume of calls and the campaign will take up to a year or more to complete. This is the campaign that’s designed to bring in millions of dollars that the company will use to complete all IT applications and begin opening our services internationally. So, it’s well worth getting it right before we start live calling.
What you’re seeing in these reports is a blow-by-blow of the daily struggle to get an IT application working properly and debugged. This process is normal. This is the reason IT companies have large staffs of IT professionals. (In other words, there’s ALWAYS something going wrong, or something new to develop.) But most people never have access to or know about the work it takes to make even the simplest applications work. This is what we go through daily.
I understand it’s frustrating for all the sales people to have to wait until I give the green light; it’s frustrating on this end as well. But making sure we have a system that works properly is the only way we’re going to create a successful campaign. Late today and possibly tonight I’ll try a few more calls. If the tests between 11 pm and 2 am work out well, I’ll try making some calls on Friday as well. Those calls will go out to our several beta testers so you’ll know we’re “almost there”.
Money Messagingtm eBook Manual Finished
This morning, after working night & day for the past 10 days, I finally completed the 136 page manual that will be marketed through Clickbank, Plimus and from our own online store and website. This ebook is designed as a marketing tool to educate subscribers about GlobalTmailtm and the Asset Management Group, and also as a technical manual that teaches Remote Agents how to use the GroupCallertm system. The Money Messagingtm project has taken most of my time and energy for the past week and a half, but I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t think it was absolutely necessary. Once we begin selling AMG Memberships through Remote Agents, we’re going to have to have the materials all prepared to train these new members. Completing this publication takes us a giant leap in that direction.
Today I hope to create the distribution website that will allow those with a special password to download this and other materials. All current AMG Members will receive a password and access to this ebook. My goal is that by Friday night I’ll be emailing out your password and giving you access to this book so you can see it for yourself. The PDF is a 14.8 meg file so it cannot be emailed. Be prepared for a lengthy download. Also, I’ll ask for your comments and any proof-reading corrections you might find.
New Blog Location
In conjunction with setting up a new website for distribution of the Money Messagingtm Manual, I’m also planning to change the location of this blog and begin hosting it myself on our own website. This blog has been available to the public in the past. Because we are entering an entirely new phase in our development history, and because access to private information of the type that I’ll be disclosing in the blog is really not for public consumption, this blog will become a service to which only those with paid AMG Memberships will have access. A username and password will be required to access the blog. Many readers will be grandfathered in, of course. During the coming months, after we reach the milestone of the first 400 AMG members and hire/re-hire the technical staff, we’ll begin rolling out beta versions of our IT applications. This private information and access to the applications is intended for a closed audience. Since we’re getting so close to that time, I need to get the new blog site set up and functional. If you’re reading this, it’s likely you’ll get a username and password automatically.
Today promises to be another day packed with too many things to accomplish. I should be able to get another article published Friday morning to let you know how today’s testing went. I do have high expectations that we’ll have some success today. Check in tomorrow and you’ll find out. (By the way, tomorrow I’ll be “out” on private family duties between 10:00 am and 2:30 pm).
