Tuesday was filled with activity. We had a technical conference call between myself, Jeff Wilson, Josh at the VoIP provider and Ahmed in Pakistan. During that call we tested dialing and discovered the problem appears to be coming from a vendor (supplier of VoIP services) for our own VoIP provider. We’re able to make one single call at a time, but as soon as we make 2 simultaneous calls, our IP is rejected and the call fails. Obviously this must be corrected as we currently have 500 open channels with our VoIP provider, with an unlimited number of channels available for the future.
I’m confident the VoIP provider technicians will correct this problem very soon. This correction will finally allow us to begin our Phase I campaign. I expect to hear from the technicians again sometime today. I’ll let you know how it goes tomorrow.
After our conference call yesterday, Ahmed gave me the names of 3 others wholesale VoIP providers we could work with that are used by his other clients. He reports he has never had this kind of problem with these other VoIP providers. Sadly, we cannot make a change right away because our non-refundable money has already been paid to our current provider. We’ll have to make some sales before we can switch, so we’re stuck with our current provider. I believe they’re a reputable company, though, and should still do a good job for us as soon as this problem is debugged.
After the conference call, I met with our patent attorney and worked on a number of issues with him. That was followed by a dinner meeting with 2 of our newer Associates after which we met with one of their contacts. This new prospect is interested in acquiring a Remote Agent Seat License. This was the first time I presented the Remote Agent License as opposed to presenting the purchase of an AMG Memberships. Licenses are sold under the same pricing structure of Standard, Silver, Gold and Platinum. But the “feel” of the presentation was far different than any I had done in the past.
In my opinion, the new presentation is much more clear and easy for everyone to understand. I hope to have this presentation posted online for you to download by tonight. I’ll let you know tomorrow.
