I’m sorry I did not post an article yesterday. “I-Bin-Bizzy” as they say . . . . A lot has happened since my last post, so let me give you a quick run-down of what I’ve been doing since Tuesday:
- Voice Broadcast Development Back On Track – ETA One Week: We decided to replace our India-based team with one or more new people. The programmer in whom we placed so much hope and confidence has let us down. He was very responsive at first, but for more than 2 weeks has done absolutely nothing for us, and only answered my daily communications 3 or 4 times with very short and non-detailed responses. As a result, I put the remaining tasks out to bid to locate one or more new programmers who can finish the job on “our” schedule, not theirs. As of this morning I have 4 new bids from qualified, competing programmer teams in both Pakistan and India. Jeff and I will assign the remaining tasks to a new developer team by the end of business tomorrow, Friday, April 15.
- Start of GroupCaller Campaigns: One of our bid requirements is completion of the voice broadcast system within 1 week. From our investigation, we discover that all candidates have numerous successful installations of their work and are promising a completed, delivered product with various times of 1, 3, 6 and 7 days, start to finish. We don’t pay until the project has been completed to our satisfaction. I expect we’ll be actively dialing by next Friday, April 22, 2011.
- Clickbank Marketing: I have completed about 65% of the ‘product’ we’ll offer through Clickbank. (www.clickbank.com) For those of you who don’t know or don’t remember my previous article about them, Clickbank is an online marketer of downloadable products like ebooks, software, digital artwork, etc. They have over 100,000 Affiliates and tens of thousands of products available from authors like…”yours truly.” I think I can have my “product” (an ebook) finished by Sunday, which means we can publish ourselves to their massive database of Affiliates by next Monday. We cannot predict how many Clickbank Affiliates will actually begin promoting and selling my ebook (which is primarily a marketing tool designed to locate qualified prospects for our AMG Memberships). However, my research shows that as long as the product is of good quality (it is), it should be picked up and marketed by as many as a hundred or more Affiliates. This gives us an entirely new method of gaining prospects online.
- SEO Marketing Has Started: Simultaneous with starting the Clickbank activity, I decided to design, build and promote our own “squeeze page”. In Internet vernacular, a “squeeze page” is simply a page designed to get name, email, and possibly phone number of people who are interested in what we sell (the AMG Membership). In short, it’s a method to build an “opt-in” list of people who want more information about us. This is an online method of accomplishing the same thing as our massive voice broadcast campaign. I expect to finish this task by the end of April, so keep watching the blog for updates on the squeeze page and the SEO marketing designed to send traffic to that page.
- New Primary ISP Selected For Marketing Purposes: Tomorrow (Friday) I’ll meet with the CIO (Chief Information Officer) of a local ISP with whom I have met several times since January. I hope to nail down the details of a hosting package that will allow us to set up one or multiple VPS’s (Virtual Private Servers) on their equipment. A VPS is simply a method of creating a computer server on another computer server (a “virtual” server … on server can be made to look like 10, or 50 or even 100 or more different computer servers on the Internet). Essentially, we would rent space on their equipment which would allow us to take advantage of their massive fiber-optic bandwidth. This would give us nearly unlimited rapid-expansion capabilities and allow us go do things like…going from 10 to 10,000 lines simultaneously making phone calls (i.e. thousands to millions of calls a day) in as little as “hours”, not days, weeks or months, and with no or very little additional expense.
- Bulk Email Verifier: In the past 2 days I acquired the software rights to one of the best email verifiers in the business. An email verifier is software that ensures that each email address in a particular list is valid (i.e. deliverable). This is vitally important because email providers like Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. will blacklist our domain (all the email we send out), and prevent the email from even reaching the spam filter of the recipient, if we repeatedly send emails to “dead” or “non-existent” or “cancelled” or “deleted” email accounts. We know that a large percentage (up to about 25%) of the emails in our existing database are “bad”. Therefore, when we send messages to our existing database, it’s essential to “clean” the list prior to sending the email each time. We’re now in a position to do that, but we haven’t done it in the past.
- Bulk Emailer Server Tested And Ready: I’ve talked about our bulk email server many times in the past. But I have only used it a few times, and mostly just for testing purposes. I tested it extensively in the past week and am ready to begin a regular campaign of sending emails to our existing GTM member database. We’ll use this as a primary communications tool with our own members to keep everyone updated on progress, but also to encourage more referral business for the AMG memberships.
- List Research For First Commercial Client: I had discussion with our first commercial Client again yesterday. We’re helping research and obtain the right list for their first campaign to 100,000 phone numbers. I hope to have my research done and present the results to him tomorrow. There is a possibility they will order even more calls; and in fact, we’re doing our best to ensure that their organization has a successful campaign due to the fact that they have stated if this first campaign is successful, they intend to run it in all 50 states, resulting in substantial revenue to us!
Whew! That’s all I can write for the moment. As you can see, I have “a lot” to do today, so I need to get busy on it. Check back tomorrow. I’ll keep you updated on all these issues as we continue to work on them day by day.
Hi, I met your blog through Google and the spot appears quite diverting to me.
